Compile a C/C++ program with Maven (Ubuntu)

I found this video on Youtube by Jeganathan Swaminathan
and used it as a starting point to learn about Maven.

I assume you are familiar with Linux.
Install Maven using this page: https://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/maven-in-five-minutes.html
Optional: install SVN using this page: https://subversion.apache.org/packages.html
If you are using Eclipse, install in Eclipse the Subversive plugin which makes life much easier. With it you can explore the repository, compare with files in the repository, perform all svn actions you normally do on the command line and much more. (http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/index.php).

Download my version of all files in the video: HelloWorld.tar.gz

You can call a script directly from the pom (myFirst.sh, mySecond.sh) and do not have to use the additional required .xml (compile.xml, run.xml) file.
